38 Special Coming to Packard Music Hall

WARREN, Ohio – Rock band 38 Special will be coming to Packard Music Hall for a concert Oct. 16.

Tickers will be available for presale 10 a.m. Thursday with password “PACKARD.” Regular sales will begin 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets, ranging from $32 to $68, can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

Founded in 1974 by Donnie Van Zant, 38 Special has had three albums go platinum and another gold. It’s biggest hits have included “Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ into the Night,” “If I’d Been the One” and “Caught Up in You.”

The current band lineup features Don Barnes (vocals, co-lead and rhythm guitars, keyboard), Bobby Capps (vocals, keyboard), Gary “Madman” Moffatt (drums), Barry Dunaway (bass, backing vocals) and Jerry Rigs (lead guitar, backing vocals).
