Trumbull County Tourism played host to the crew during its visit, taking it to sites that had the potential to draw visitors.
The bureau viewed the show as a strategic marketing opportunity to reach potential guests seeking an outdoor travel destination, according to a press release from Beth Kotwis, director of Trumbull County Tourism.
“Hosting ‘Fishing U’ is a great opportunity for the area to highlight our outdoor adventures,” Kotwis said, noting that January is Plan Your Vacation Month for the travel industry.
“With a national and international audience, we look forward to welcoming visitors to Trumbull county, when people are ready to travel again,” Kotwis said.
